Northwest Oregon Works gives $53,000 to Astor Environmental

On March 31 at the Clatsop Community College Marine and Environmental Research and Training Station campus, Len Tumbarello, a maritime program coordinator at Northwest Oregon Works presented a $53,000 check to Astor Environmental.

 

The funding will cover travel, lodging and meal incentives for crews hired to conduct salmonoid research on the Columbia River for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. These incentives are designed to ensure NOAA vessels can be properly manned for these annual research operations.
