- Ear: Texting
Unscramblerer, for reasons unfathomable, used 2025 Google search data to come up with the most searched-for top 10 text abbreviations in Oregon.
They are, top one first: PMO (Put me on); DTM (Doing too much); ICL (I can’t lie); WYF (Where are you from?); OTP (One true pairing); WSG (What’s good?); SMH (Shaking my head); FFS (For f—’s sake); IMY (I miss you); and ATP (At this point). Don’t you feel enlightened?
A spokesperson for the website said that “text abbreviations are the secret language of the Internet. You could even call them an integral part of social media culture … Keeping up to date with the newest trending abbreviations is no easy task.” True enough.
If you don’t give a whit about texting, not to worry: Unscramblerer is also a site for a little assistance for any word puzzle game enthusiast.
