Knappa senior Taylor Pass and freshman Lucy Oien were named to the Second Team. They were joined by Juliet Wachsmuth of Portland Christian, and Nestucca teammates Autumn Rist and Piper Armstrong.

Junior Dahlia Koeppen took home honorable mention, while Pass and Pina claimed two of the five spots on the all-defensive team.

The Loggers take on Weston-McEwen in the quarterfinals of the 2A Girls Basketball Championship on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. at the Pendleton Convention Center.

The head coach of Knappa’s boys team, Paul Isom, won league Coach of the Year honors, after guiding a banged-up Loggers squad to second place in Northwest League play and a spot in the 2A State Basketball Tournament. But the Loggers lost a first-round decision to Stanfield, 79-54, on Friday.
