Ear: Mia

Happy news in December from the Astoria Police Department, which is doing a heartwarming job of fostering and finding homes for Clatsop County Animal Shelter pups in partnership with Clatsop Animal Assistance:

“Our sweet Riggs is getting a furever home for Christmas,” was posted on the Fosters of APD Dispatch Facebook page. “ … Thank you everyone who shared his photos and spread the word.”

Mia, a 1-year-old “petite lab mix,” is the new foster dog looking for her forever home. “Mia has quickly adapted to her new surroundings. Her playful antics has brought a lot of laughter. She has already formed a special bond with several of us,” a recent post said.

“Mia loves being with people and giving kisses — Mia loves to chase after her toys, captivating everyone with her energy. She loves playing fetch, and is learning to bring the ball back … Mia is so much fun, she is going to make someone very happy. Come meet Mia, and see if she’s the perfect companion for you!” Just look at those eyes.
