Pacific Power Foundation announces new grants

The Pacific Power Foundation is supporting community-serving local organizations in Oregon, Washington state and California with a new round of grants, totaling $175,000.

The grants underwrite programs such as affordable housing access, job training, rural economic development, ecosystem preservation, trail restoration and nature-based education.

Included in the grant recipients are the Arch Cape Falcon Cove Beach Community Club and the Wildlife Center of the North Coast in Clatsop County. This round of grants is one of four grant cycles offered by the foundation annually. A total of 63 grants were given.
