Children’s literacy nonprofit SMART Reading is seeking a volunteer site coordinator to oversee the reading program at John Jacob Astor Elementary School, where community volunteers read one on one with students on a weekly basis.

This leadership volunteer role typically takes two to eight hours a week overseeing reading sessions, coordinating with the school and completing other tasks.
