Letter: Beautiful

I live in Cannon Beach, and I urge all Cannon Beach voters to vote “yes” to upgrade the old Cannon Beach Elementary School into a community center we can all use, residents and visitors alike. It’s right at the entrance into Cannon Beach, and it will be beautiful.

The city councilors worked years to bring this plan to fruition, and they approved it unanimously. They are our neighbors and friends, who have volunteered hundreds and hundreds of hours on this project, listened to many citizens repeatedly and have incorporated suggestions into the plans.

These volunteers were elected by the majority of the voters to make decisions about every aspect of our city government. I would like to give them a big round of applause for all of their hard work, and again remind people to vote “yes” to support the school plan, aka the NeCus’ center.
