Letter: The words

Listen to the words coming from the opponent’s mouth about eating dogs and cats, threatening deportation of legal immigrants, spouting grievances and conspiracy theories, insulting South Carolina’s autoworkers, insulting Detroit, spreading lies and disinformation about the federal government’s Hurricane Helene response and more.
All with a zero basis for his disinformation, causing hardship to those most in need, insulting those helping to ease the loss and pain (remember drink bleach for COVID?).
We don’t need a convicted felon, climate change denier, an insurrectionist or someone who threatens to end our traditional U.S. freedoms (read Project 2025). Listen to the past president’s words.
If we want to hold on to our democracy, we need a president we can rely on for truth-telling, who unites Americans, who demonstrates intelligence, morality and respect, who represents all Americans.
Vote country over party. Our vote is for Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz!
Patrick Henry said it best: “United we stand, divided we fall,” in 1799.
