Clatsop County will host two open house meetings for the public to learn more about the Economic Opportunities Analysis project.
One meeting will be held at the Seaside Public Library at 10 a.m. on Oct. 26. The other will be held at the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria at 4 p.m. on Nov. 4.
The meetings are an opportunity for people to review past, present and future economic data, discuss challenges and opportunities and provide feedback on proposed plans for improving community health. The Economic Opportunities Analysis is part of the county’s efforts to plan for the next-generation economy, with a specific focus on the blue economy, health care, construction and resources and food processing.
