Conley Vaughan, 85, passed away peacefully on Sept. 26 surrounded by his loving family. A devoted father of five, Conley was known for his kindness, character, consistency and unwavering dedication to his family. Conley was born on May 20, 1939, in Nampa, Idaho.

Conley was a man who never took his blessings for granted. He lived each day with deep gratitude, fully aware of how lucky he was to have the love of his family, the friendship of those around him and the simple joys of life.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Vaughan, and five children, Steve, Susan, Sandy, Jennifer and Jess Vaughan, as well as his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy into his life.

Conley will be remembered for his gentle spirit, sense of humor and the love he shared with everyone he met. His legacy will live on through the lives of those he touched.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bob Chisholm Community Center, 1225 Ave. A in Seaside.
