“The Cycle,” an atmospheric thriller directed by Jordan Downey being filmed in Astoria and the surrounding areas, has another production update from co-producer Mike Downey for you to ponder.

“Our production is looking for a drivable recreational vehicle to rent from Oct. 17 to Nov. 22 for a cast trailer,” he wrote.

The film production also needs security guards to ensure the safety and security of cast, crew and equipment on set.

“We are still searching for a midcentury modern house near Astoria for filming. If you have something unique, please email us.

“We’re also on the hunt for (a) small wooden boat, a floating dock, an interesting, funky cool wheelchair, oddities, old newspapers, jars, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, rain gear, and more. If you have anything that might fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you.”
