We can choose who represents us in Salem. I received a postcard from the incumbent talking about the importance of housing. I haven’t noticed anything that he has done for Clatsop County housing problems, and I read the paper.

Andy Davis is running against him, and has actual experience. On the Astoria City Council, he has dealt with housing issues of the homeless, financing, expansion of subsidized housing at Owens-Adair and legal challenges, and has been a renter himself. Andy serves on the board of Copeland Commons, preparing to create 60 units of workers’ housing next year.
He has done more than talking, he has “walked the walk.” Andy knows Clatsop County, and will advocate for the entire region. He has shown it in public service throughout his career, and is a dedicated worker.
Please vote. Vote for Davis as our state representative.
