SEASIDE — National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, celebrating Hispanic and Latino peoples’ history and culture.

Consejo Hispano is hosting their third annual Hispanic/Latinx Heritage celebration, in collaboration with Sunset Empire Park and Recreation, from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Sunset Recreation Center in Seaside.

There is no cost for this family-friendly event, which features dance performances, a magic/comedy show, folk art workshops, free food and beverages. There will also be a small artisan fair, where Oregon Latino artisans will be selling their creations. For information, go to consejohispano.org.
