SEASIDE — The third annual Seaside SandFest is being held from Thursday through Sunday in the sand in front of the Broadway turnaround.

Ten master sand sculptors, from three countries and seven states, will be competing all four days.

This year, an advanced amateur division has been added, and five sculptors will be competing in this category from Friday through Sunday. The winners will be determined by votes.

Also this year, two full-time Lesson Beach instructors will be offering free sandcastle lessons daily at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. Last year, about 400 people participated.

The gated entry fee is  $2 for one day, or $5 for multiple days, which includes a voting token. For information, go to seasidesandfest.com.
