WARRENTON — A fire damaged the north wall of J & S Appliance late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded shortly after 10 p.m. to find the wall of the Marlin Avenue business and two vehicles parked nearby in flames, according to the Warrenton Police Department.

Firefighters were able extinguish the fire in a short period of time, preventing the blaze from entering the building.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the fire and the Warrenton Police Department is also looking into the incident.
