Weird. The current vice president called her campaign opponents “weird.” I remember when Portland’s unofficial motto was “Keep Portland Weird.” There must be a serious change in the political winds when a term for one of the most liberal cities in the nation is now used by a presidential candidate against the conservative political opposition.
I just wonder what the current vice president, who grew up near San Francisco, knows about weirdness. And what is the standard? How weird can one be before falling into the abyss of extreme weirdness? And who is to judge what is weird or not?
The vice president was given the job of heading up a coalition to fix the border issue. The media then labeled the vice president as “border czar.” Now those same media outlets claim that name was never applied to the current vice president. I find that weird.

What I also find weird is the “prosecutor” candidate in 2020 was a leader for raising bail funds for thugs involved in the George Floyd riots. Why would a champion of law and order raise millions for people who tried to harm people and destroy private property? That’s weird.
The 2024 presidential election spiked the weird-o-meter when the vice president for four years claimed the current president was able to do his job for another four years.
I’ve got a name for this … weird.
