Local 4-H members win in presentation competition

The 4-H presentations competition was held on March 4. Members gave presentations or demonstrations in front of a judge, parents and other 4-H members.

The 4-H members in fourth to sixth grade spoke for three to 10 minutes, and those in seventh to 12th grade were required to talk for 10 to 15 minutes. Members also gave impromptu speeches. They received a topic, planned for a few minutes and presented.

The junior division level winners include: illustrated talk champion Vincenzo Bigda; team illustrated talk champion Eliane Tiedemann and Eliona Chavez-Fulmer; public speech champion Everett Curtis; impromptu speech champion Triton Cave; and demonstration champion and overall division champion Taliah Bellingham.

The intermediate division winners include: illustrated talk champion Abby Bellingham; public speech champion Karleigh Cave; impromptu speech champion Joy Bellingham; demonstration champion Joy Bellingham; and overall division champion Joy Bellingham.

The senior division winners include: impromptu champion Matthew Cano; team illustrated talk Abby Bellingham and Titus Cano; and overall division champion Matthew Cano.
