WARRENTON — Rite Aid has announced that it will close its location on U.S. Highway 101 on Nov. 28.

The national drug store chain purchased an advertisement in The Astorian on Saturday about the closure. The ad said customer prescription files would be transferred to Walgreens on E. Harbor Drive on Nov. 29.

The Philadelphia-based company did not respond to requests for comment. A store manager in Warrenton could not confirm the closure.

Rite Aid had previously announced a list of store closures as part of a bankruptcy filing in October.
