Ear: Goonies

Seller “cultvhs” on eBay is selling a brand new, unopened, 1986 VHS edition of the iconic kids’ favorite for $125,000, and hey, there’s even free shipping. The seller has an unheard of 100% positive feedback, which means he’s had zero complaints even after selling over 3,000 items. Whether or not even the most devout Goonies fanatic will go for it remains to be seen.

Or, for a modest $25,000, plus $12.55 shipping on eBay, you can buy another brand new, unopened 1986 VHS edition of “The Goonies” from “vintage_gems_here,” who also has 100% positive feedback, and has sold over 1,000 items.

And, those are just two of the eBay vendors selling VHS editions of the movie, in a wide range of wallet-busting prices. It does give one pause to think, though, if one should go on a Goonies-style hunt in the basement and attic to root out any original, unopened VHS tape treasures that might be lurking about.
