Dale Blackburn Jr.

Albany

Dec. 29, 1982 — Aug. 6, 2023

Dale Allen Blackburn Jr. was born in Palm Springs, California, on Dec. 29, 1982.

He grew up in Clatsop County and lived in Warrenton until May, when he moved to Albany.

He made his journey from Albany on Aug. 6. Dale is loved and missed by many.

He was a great son to Dale A. Blackburn Sr., Catherine M. Gilson and Tommie Gilson. He was a bossy, authoritative big brother to Jimmy Blackburn, Brian Blackburn, Anthony Valenzula, Cheyenne McAloney and Mikey Valenzuela.

Dale made friends everywhere he went, and he had many who were blessed to be called friends. Dale was the go-to guy for everyone.

Dale had a love for children, and they loved him just as much. His greatest gifts were his children, whom he loved dearly, Kylie, Vee, Theresa and Robert; and the ones he loved as his own, Mackenzie, Hailey, Theodore and Charlotte.

Dale graduated from Seaside High School and went right to work. He never shied away from hard work.

Dale was welcomed with open arms by his Grandma Margaret Blackburn and Grandpa Robert M. Valenzuela Sr. Dale is holding the gates for a large family: his grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dale will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
