Joseph Francis Meneguzzi, 28, was given 120 days in Clatsop County Jail and five years of supervised probation after pleading guilty to criminally negligent homicide, unlawful delivery of fentanyl and unlawful possession of a short-barreled shotgun.
Two counts of manslaughter — one first degree and one second degree — and another count of unlawful delivery of fentanyl were dismissed.
If Meneguzzi’s probation is revoked due to violation, he will serve four years in prison.

The homicide charge stemmed from the death of Dennis Burnsed.
Meneguzzi was originally indicted in July for drug and weapon charges, but Burnsed’s autopsy results led to new charges being brought forward.
