Megan Ticer, the interim principal of Jewell School, will step down from her position at the end of the school year.

Ticer, who previously served as an elementary teacher at Jewell, was hired alongside interim Superintendent Cory Pederson in July.

Ticer will not return to her teaching role, Pederson said.

The Jewell School Board acknowledged her resignation on Monday. Pederson said the school district has begun a search for a full-time replacement.
