Coastal Family Health Center welcomes Shelby Farmer, a certified physician assistant, and Yesem Demeke, a registered dietician.

In the Peace Corps, Farmer worked in Cambodia for two years as a community health educator. She received her master of physician assistant studies degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her clinical interests include women’s health, mental health and pediatrics.

Demeke tries to help every patient understand how nutrition impacts their general health and empower their health goals with good dietary practices. She received her master’s degree in family and consumer sciences: nutrition and dietetics from California State University, Northridge, in California.
