Kimberly Jones-Langdon

Kodiak, Alaska

April 29, 1964 — Sept. 15, 2018

Kimberly Ann Jones-Langdon was born in Astoria, Oregon, on April 29, 1964 to LaVerne and Lesley (Leyendecker) Kadera.

She attended and graduated from Seaside High School in 1983. She went on to marry Robert (Rob) Langdon and moved to Kodiak, Alaska, where together they ran Langdon Fisheries.

Kim’s short battle with pancreatic cancer ended shortly after her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law granted her final wish of driving her home to Seaside from Houston, Texas. Kim’s presence will be missed as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend to anyone lucky enough to have known her.

Kim is survived by her husband, Rob Langdon; daughter, Jaime Hughes; parents, LaVerne and Lesley Kadera; her brother, Scott Kadera; nieces, Bailey, Madison, Niya, Nisa and Brooklyn; and nephew, Sean.

Funeral services are private, but the family would like to invite all those who would like to join them in a celebration of life reception being held on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m., at the American Legion Hall, located at 1315 Broadway in Seaside.

The family has requested that those wishing to make donations in Kim’s memory make them to the American Cancer Society.

Details can be found at the online memorial tribute at hughes-ransom.com, and shared at fb.me/hughesransommortuary. There, you may also sign the guest book, share a favorite memory or upload a photo(s).
