Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, the Pacific Trail Riders and Clatsop County Sons of Beaches motor sport clubs, are teaming up Nov. 18 and 19 to assist the Oregon Department of Forestry in Clatsop County to clean, do maintenance and repair erosion areas on the Nicolai Mountain OHV trail system, Knob Point tree trail.

Nov. 18 is equipment and material day, and the work areas will be set up and prepped. On Nov. 19, all hands meet at 9 a.m. at the Nicolai OHV staging area off Shinglemill Road. Both clubs welcome all OHV motor sports enthusiasts to join the effort. Manpower, Utility Task Vehicles (UTV) and Quads to tow trailers, and rakes and shovels to move debris, are needed to pick up trash throughout the entire trail system.
