Ziak presents good luck flag

- TOYKO — Naselle, Wash., resident Rex Ziak, left, historian and co-founder of Obon 2015, hands over a yosegaki hinomaru, a good luck flag, to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at his official residence in Tokyo recently. Ziak has run a project called Obon 2015 since 2009 to return as many yosegaki hinomaru, signed flags given to Imperial Japanese soldiers during WWII for good luck, to their owners' families.
