The Cannon Beach Community Church Book Club will meet in the basement of the Community Church at 10:45 a.m. every fourth Sunday of every month. The Cannon Beach Community Church is located at 132 E. Washington St.

The first meeting will take place on April 26 and the first book selection will be Ann Voskamp’s “One Thousand Gifts,” an inspirational book where the author invites her readers into her own moments of grace — teaching them how to biblically lament loss, turn pain into poetry and how to intentionally embrace a lifestyle of radical gratitude. The group will also start its first meeting by passing out thankfulness journals and showing a brief video.
