Monsanto wins

Remember the election? I am very angry the genetically modified food will not be labeled as such. I want to know what’s in my food. I want to make intelligent choices. I wanted as much truth as I could get. I didn’t want chemical companies taking control of our food supply.

If you voted no because of the television advertisements, then your vote was bought and paid for by big corporations. These corporations paid a record $18 million to persuade you to vote against labeling — against consumers’ best interests.

And now, for the winners of the no vote: Monsanto, Dow and DuPont. You might want to ask yourself why the three big chemical companies care so much about food or food labeling.

Also contributing to the negative outcome: Coke, Pepsi, Kraft, Land O’Lakes, General Mills, Mondelez, Hershey, Smucker, Kellogg, ConAgra, Bimbo Bakeries, Grocery Manufacturers Association, Abbott Nutrution, McCormick and Cargill.

As for those who didn’t vote at all, you have my contempt. You are not allowed to complain, no matter what Monsanto does to your food.
