Bryan and Katie Tikkala

Katie Tarabochia of Astoria, daughter of Shelly and Allen Solum and Mike Tarabochia, all of Astoria, exchanged wedding vows with Bryan Tikkala of Astoria at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, outside at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. The groom is the son of Sarah and Randy Horner of Medford and Robbie Tikkala of Astoria.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Sean Kelley was the officiant.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Perrigo of Astoria, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayla Tikkala of Medford, sister of groom, Carrie Doner of Camas, Wash., cousin of the bride, and Emily Conner of Suffolk, Va., the bride’s best friend.

Best man was Chris Tucker of Astoria. Groomsmen were Mike Tarabochia of Warrenton, brother of the bride, Justin Tikkala of Beaverton, brother of the groom, and Nate Malinen of Astoria, friend of the groom.

The bride graduated from Astoria High School in 2007. She is employed at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Astoria High School. He works for the Autio Company in Astoria.

A dinner reception with dancing was held inside at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. Bryan Lempea of Knappa played music for the event.

The honeymoon was a week-long cruise from Florida to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The couple resides in Astoria.
