Goonies get decked redux

Back in March, the Ear mentioned a Kickstarter campaign sure to tickle the fancy of fans of all things Goonie: GOONIE PLAYING CARDS (some are pictured) an illustrated deck by Nat Iwata that features court cards based on Goonies characters such as Mouth, Chunk, Mikey, Sloth and One-eyed Willie. With a goal of $10,000, the project wound up with 1,242 backers and raised a whopping $44,647.

At the time, a pledge could get you a deck for $15. If you missed the boat then, all is not lost, but it will cost you $21.09 (plus shipping). The cards can be found at http://tinyurl.com/gooncardz, just in case you want to do a little early Christmas shopping.
