COOS BAY — One person was injured in a rollover on Libby Lane early Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 3 a.m. Tuesday, two Coos Bay residents were involved in a rollover crash near milepost 2.5 on Libby Lane. The wet, slippery road surface contributed to the rollover, according to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the 1989 Honda Accord, 22-year-old Mark Socia, was not injured. His passenger, 20-year-old Madison Stuermer was transported to Bay Area Hospital and treated for her injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies, Charleston Fire Department and Bay Cities Ambulance responded to the scene. No citations were issued.
