Masons honor Seaside students

SEASIDE Evergreen Masonic Lodge in Seaside held its 2014 annual scholastic achievement awards ceremony May 13, under the direction of the Worshipful Master Howard Hazelett. Seaside High School juniors and seniors who have attained a 3.50 or better GPA were recognized by the Masons.

Juniors receiving certificates were: Christopher Anguiano, Christian Avila, Brianna Babbitt, Charlotte Blakesley, Allison Bussert, Tennaya Carr, Elizabeth Chapman, Joshua Chesnut, Jordan Davis, Haylee Dundas, Heather Flores, Shane Fritter, Hannah Garhofer, Samuel Hinton, Reese Januik, William Kendall, Allison Kilday, Kevin Lacoste, Brooke Laws, Jensen Liu, Alex Lyon, Matthew Marshall, Trenten Meyer, Austin Milliren, Rebecca Misho, Amber Nofield, Giselle Pincetich, Calvin Pollard, Dylan Townsend, Alexandria Utti, Gloria Villa, Eleanore Whitlock, Danielle Willyard, and Kelly Willyard.

For the seniors, certificates were awarded to: Christian Anderson, Celeste Barriga, Maxwell Beaudoin, Alicia Caballero, Evelyn Castro, Rebekah Cave, Yijie Cheng, Kaitlyn Cook, Collin Cupples, Sonny Davis, Jefferson Farmer, Riley Hawksford, Tessa Hoelscher, William Johnson, Kathryn Kawasoe, John Kero, Alanna Kieffer, Brittni Leback, Kaitlin Lewis, Aubriannah Lyons, Claire Milander-Mashlan, Jordan Miller, Haylie Moon, Yasmine Morris, Brianna Nofield, Mackenzie Skyles-Blake, Kaia Spiliotes Fornes, Aaron Tadei, Gabrielle Thompson, Lexie Tuholski, David Ward, Amanda West, and Samuel Wittman.

Beyond the certificates of recognition for academic achievement, the lodge also presented two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors: one to Haylie Moon, and the other to William Johnson .

Light refreshments for the evening were provided by Costco of Warrenton and Bell Buoy Seafoods in Seaside.
