FlipKey, the vacation rental company of TripAdvisor.com, has named Seaside No. 2 on its list of Top Solo Travel Destinations (http://www.flipkey.com/blog/2014/03/19/top-destinations-and-tips-for-traveling-solo/). Russian River, Calif., made the top spot.

So what made Seaside stand out? No, it wasnt Broadway, or the beaches, or the surfing, or the clam digging, or the seafood all of which Seaside is widely known for. It was the beer.
