A notary public education program is coming to Seaside on April 22.

Offered by the Secretary of States office, the program will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Clatsop Community College 1455 N. Roosevelt Drive, room 2. The program is free and open to the public.

The information presented covers the rules and regulations for Oregon notaries and explains how to properly identify the signer, what notaries record in their journals and what requirements are needed to create a proper Oregon Notarial Certificate.
