MANZANITA Finnesterre, 194 Laneda Ave. in Manzanita, a retailer of original works by local artists and artisans and fine home goods from around the world, has announced a new partner and plans to expand.
Terri Desaro opened Finnesterre in the summer of 2011 in a 1930s cottage, following an extensive renovation. Fred Kassab, a long-time friend and part-time Manzanitan who recently retired from his pediatrics practice in Seattle, will be her new partner in the business.
Along with a second proprietor, Finnesterre will soon gain a second display gallery as it expands into the former Bonfire building next door. The pair are currently sourcing new inventory and expect to open that space sometime this spring.

Fred and I both have an appreciation for the unique and the finely crafted, said Desaro, and I am excited to have his selections broaden our offerings in style, scope and size as we take advantage of the additional, high-ceilinged space.
Winter/early spring weekday hours of operation vary, but Finnesterre is always open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For information, or to check the schedule, call 503-368-8377, or go to www.finnesterre.com or www.facebook.com/finnesterre
