ODOT closing Oregon Highway 47 for emergency repairs

The Oregon Department of Transportation will need to close Oregon Highway 47 in both directions at milepost 7 between Clatskanie and Mist to do emergency repairs to the road.

Recent heavy rain has damaged the road and it will need to be be closed for two days to complete the work, ODOT said.

Crews will start the work at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. A local detour is available.
