Please cancel my subscription to the newspaper, effective immediately. I was appalled that the paper printed nude paintings in the current Coast Weekend (Feb. 27, on pages 12 and 13), and that the editor chose to waste all that space on the cover showing a painting of a naked lady.

I am sure the artists featured are very talented in their chosen field. On the contrary, those whose job it is to choose Coast Weekend subject material, pictures and covers, need to think first. I am disappointed in them.

I agree that the human body is beautiful and fearfully and wonderfully made, but I do not think it needs be put on display au naturel in a local family newspaper.  

It is too bad when we have to keep our children away from the evening paper. Please think twice next time.
