Nov. 22
1:06 p.m., 1100 block of Broadway: Report of a suspicious package. Officers responded: lunch box.
9:58 p.m., 1500 block of North Roosevelt Drive: Caller reporting a transient-looking male with a purse. Officers attempted to locate subject to no avail.
Nov. 23
12:18 p.m., U.S. Highway 101 at the Outlet Mall: Caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver. Officer conducted a traffic stop. Driver showed no signs of impairment, distracted driving.
2:24 p.m., 1900 block of North Holladay Drive: Caller reported a transient male sleeping outside of the school. Officer responded and was unable to locate anyone in the area.
Nov. 24
6:58 a.m., Avenue S at the beach: Caller reporting a group of girls being loud and lying in the road. Officer could not locate the group.
12:49 p.m., U.S. Highway 101 at the chamber of commerce building: Caller reported a male throwing rocks at cars and people passing by. No reported injuries or damage to property. Officer was unable to locate the suspect.
1:25 p.m., 500 block of Broadway: Caller reported a male hitting a golden retriever. Officer responded but was unable to locate the male.
Nov. 25
4:34 a.m., 1000 block of South Downing Street: Caller contacted 911 regarding two males pounding on her door. Officers arrived and did not find anyone in the area.
11:05 a.m., Avenue A and U.S. Highway 101: Caller reported a male lying on the ground. Officer responded and contacted the male, who was warned for unlawful lodging.
Nov. 26
6:27 p.m., U.S. Highway 101 at Rippet Road: Traffic complaint put through to Oregon State Police. Officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle. Subject was not intoxicated but advised to park his vehicle.
9:13 p.m., 400 block of Hillside Loop: Report of 10 gunshots heard. County deputy on a traffic stop in the area. It was fireworks.
Nov. 27
12:40 p.m., 3200 block of Bayview Terrace: Contractor dispute with homewner. Persons will leave property and not return, no further at this time.
6:01 p.m., 12th Avenue: Dispatch received a 911 call regarding a found pitbull puppy. Call terminated before the complete location of the dog was determined. Unable to get further information. Officer responded to the area and was not flagged down by anyone.
Nov. 28
9:06 p.m., U.S. Highway 101 at U.S. Highway 26 northbound: Caller reported two reckless drivers on the highway, speeding and passing on double yellow lines. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate them.
10:02 p.m., 1900 block of Spruce Drive: Officer responded to a report of someone throwing rocks at the door. Request for a drive-through of the area. Officer drove through.
Nov. 29
8:07 a.m., 500 block of Broadway: Caller reported finding a 7-year-old girl outside in her pajamas without supervision. Officer responded, and the father was contacted. Girl had gotten locked out of their hotel room and couldn’t get the key to work. All OK.
12:52 p.m., 1000 block of 24th Avenue: Caller reported a mother leaving behind teenage children. Officer responded, parents not abandoning children; they are staying with someone else until they find a residence.
10:47 p.m., 1700 block of Thompson Falls: Officer responded to suspicious vehicle in the area and advised nothing suspicious. Person contacted enjoying the view.
Nov. 30
2:31 a.m., Avenue A and Holladay Drive: Anonymous complaint about an intoxicated driver. Officers stopped a similar vehicle, subjects admitted to being in the area. Not driving drunk.
1:42 p.m., 700 block of South Wahanna Road: Officer assisted Providence emergency room with a male who was acting aggressively. Male agreed to leave.
Dec. 1
11:45 a.m., U.S. Highway 101 and Wahanna Road: Caller reported a driver speeding and driving recklessly. Officers out of position and no plate available. Description of vehicle and driver taken for officers to keep an eye out for the vehicle. Officer later made contact with the suspect; he was warned for his speed.
1:52 p.m., Tillamook Head: Person brought in a found case of beer for destruction.
7:08 a.m., Seltzer Park: Employee from public works reported subject sleeping in public restroom. Officer contacted the subject and advised him of homeless shelter in the area.
Dec. 2
1:56 p.m., 300 block of South Columbia Street: City of Seaside street sweeper reported a basketball hoop in the roadway causing him to be unable to do his job. Officer responded and contacted the owner, who agreed to move it.
4:13 p.m., 1500 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Caller reported an intoxicated driver. Officer responded and located the vehicle parked. Officer did not observe signs of impairment. Male was warned against drinking and driving.
Dec. 3
7:27 p.m., 2100 block of South Franklin Street: Report of a stolen phone. Officer made contact with the suspect party and complainant. Phone was returned; it was accidentally taken. A small verbal argument occurred; both subjects warned about disorderly conduct.
10:10 p.m., 2100 block of South Franklin Street: Caller reporting a disturbance. Officers arrived and could not get the occupant to answer the door. The other people who were there and yelling were advised of the complaint and agreed to stay away for the rest of the night.
10:49 p.m., 2100 block of South Franklin Street: Caller requesting assistance getting her therapy cat from another apartment. Officer made contact with all parties, and they agreed to exchange the feline when they are sober.
