Its Thanksgiving time, and even TSU, a special resident at the SEASIDE AQUARIUM is grateful. You may remember Tsu as the hitchhiker who came across the ocean in a 20-foot fishing boat after the 2011 Japanese tsunami. She is pictured in a photo courtesy of the aquarium.

Tsu has the only heated tank in the building! the aquariums Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SeasideAquarium) proclaimed. This is the striped beakfishs first winter in the Pacific Northwest, and as the ocean temperature started to drop, aquarists at the Seaside Aquarium began to keep a very close eye on this precious fish. Tsus appetite started to wane once the ocean temperature dropped below 52 degrees. So Saturday, she got a heater and seems to be much happier, not to mention that her insatiable appetite is back. What an amazing fish!
