Assault arrest

At 9:03 a.m. Saturday, Astoria Police received multiple calls about a domestic disturbance occurring at an address on Floral Avenue. Officers arrived and arrested Regina Spring Jones, 53, for fourth-degree assault. She was booked into the Clatsop County Jail.

Drug arrest

At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oregon State Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Bagley Lane near Valley Creek Lane. Troopers discovered that the driver, Richard Stephen Mccaw, 44, of Astoria, had a felony warrant for his arrest. Mccaw was also in possession of methamphetamine and an open container of alcohol, and was arrested for those charges, as well as giving false information to a police officer for a citation. He was booked into the Clatsop County Jail.

DUII arrest

At 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Clatsop County Sheriffs deputies arrested Douglas Gerald Sauvageau, 58, for driving under the influence of intoxicants on U.S. Highway 30 near milepost 89. He was booked into the Clatsop County Jail.

At 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Clatsop County Sheriffs deputies arrested Douglas Allan Paul, 26, for DUII on U.S. Highway 30 near Wauna. Paul was also charged with reckless driving. He was booked into the Clatsop County Jail.
