Obituary: Richard Wayne Rick Faust

Rick was born to Jim & Marian Faust in Annapolis, MD.

His father was in the military, and the family moved often but settled in San Diego County, where Rick drove trucks after graduating from high school. He drove many types of trucks, hauling a variety of things across the country and in the local area.

He met and married his wife of 30 years, Rosemary, in El Cajon, CA, where they lived until moving to Oregon in 2004, where his wife was raised. He loved his cats and dogs that he had throughout his life, leaving behind his little Boston named Midget. He collected ducks and NASCAR racing and loved helping friends and family.

Rick was preceded in death by his brother Kirk and his parents.

Rick is survived by his wife, Rosemary, a stepdaughter Sandi Bennett, (David) two granddaughters Stephanie Hall and Serena Bennett of Warrenton, sister Patty Love and companion Fred Baker of Hanford, CA, brother-in-law Ron Britton (Linda) of Gearhart, sisters-in-law Kathy Brown (John) of Silver Lake, OR, Linda Salmon (Don) of Clatskanie, OR, two nephews, Mike Brown of Warrenton, Brian Britton of Redmond, OR, niece Heather Stinnett of Culver, OR, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A celebration of life will be held Sat. 11/2/2013 at the school house at the Hamlet Fire Station on Hwy 26 in Seaside between 1 p.m. & 4 p.m. It will be a potluck, so bring your favorite dish if you like.
