Brian and Laurie Callahan of Grants Pass announce the engagement of their daughter, Katarina Marie Callahan of Astoria, to Keifer Sievert Omer LuCore, also of Astoria. He is the son of Melton and Julie LuCore of Astoria.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Hidden Valley High School and will graduate from Oregon State University in 2014. She is employed by Costco Wholesale.

The prospective groom graduated from Astoria High School in 2010. He is employed by Van Dusen Beverages.

A summer 2014 wedding is planned.
