I worked the Clatsop County Fairs Dog Show for two days, CINDY HANSEN told the Ear. During the Dog Costume Contest, Seaside Paws in Action 4-H Dog Club Member SARAH RUSCHEINSKY and her partner, RUGER, demonstrated the fairs theme, Commotion at the Ocean, in style! Both are pictured. 

Sarah and Ruger won several ribbons and awards at the show, including the Obedience Division Champion trophy and Top Dog and Handler trophy by earning the highest scores in both showmanship and obedience in all age groups.

This is Rugers first fair experience, and it appears that Sarah and Ruger will be causing plenty of commotion as they continue to compete together, Cindy added. They are an amazing team.

The icing on the cake? Ruger was a resident of the Clatsop County Animal Shelter before Sarah adopted him and brought out his inner champion.
