Obituary: Clifford Russell Cliff Mann

Clifford Russell Mann died on December 11, 2012. His parents were Vernie and Pearl (Bullock) Mann. He was born February 10, 1922, in Osowattamie, Kansas. At a young age he moved Oregon, attending schools in Klamath Falls and Prospect.

Mr. Mann joined the Navy at age 18 and served for six years on the USS Fanning and USS Strong in the Pacific Theater.

He had many types of work in his life but for most of his life he was a truck driver, owning his own trucking business.

He is survived by his wife Judy Mann, his daughter Claudia Mann of Austin, Texas, his son Skipper Mann of Salem, Oregon, his wifes children Darcy and Dave Campbell of Kalama, Washington, Rebecca Eastland of Salem, Oregon, Lydia Meyer of Phoenix, Arizona, and a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Jan Mann of La Pine, Oregon. He also helped raise 12 Buckman children. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Simonson and a grandson, Doug Boitano.

A Celebration of Life is set for June 15th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Warrenton Community Center (170 SW Third Street).
