State Sen. BETSY JOHNSON was unable to be at the Clatsop Community College dinner and auction last Saturday night at the Astoria Golf & Country Club. But STEVE FERBER (pictured, left) and STEVE FICK (pictured, right) donned glasses and scarves, a la Johnson, in order to make a personal appeal for giving.

GERRY SWENSON responded by giving $5,000 to the college foundation. Swenson is a charter member of the CCC Foundation. The evening raised $88,368 for the college foundation.
