Astoria Sunday Market is offering a workshop about kick-starting a small business, Starting a Business on a Shoestring, from 6 to 8 p.m. March 13 at the Hotel Elliott, 357 12th St. There is no cost for this event.

Participants will learn the basics about how to get started and what to expect. Participants will walk away with an outline for their business plan.

The presenters include: Cyndi Mudge, director of Astoria Sunday Market; Leslie McCray, Sunday Market vendor and prior downtown business owner; and a Clatsop Economic Development Resources staff member.
