Jessica Marie Rath Huff, 26 died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Jessica left this earth too early leaving behind a loving husband, Keaton Huff and two beautiful children, Aryianna Rath (4) and Lylah Huff (2). Jessica was born on February 27, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She moved to Knappa, Oregon in 1997. Jessica graduated from Knappa High School in 2004 and attended Clatsop Community College. She married Keaton Huff in January of 2012 in Astoria, Oregon.

Jessica is also survived by her father Michael Rath of Astoria, Oregon and her mother Tina Rath of Las Vegas, Nevada. Jessica was the oldest of three children and is survived by a sister , Karli Rath and a brother, Daniel Rath both of Las Vegas. She is survived by her grandparents Larry and Christina Hahn, aunts Laurie Wright and Leslie Hahn and an uncle, Greg Hahn, and numerous cousins all from Las Vegas. She is also survived by her step-mother Jeanne Windsor-Rath and step-brother Chad Prendergast both of Knappa, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Rath and two aunts, Susan Rath and Bridget Hahn.

Jessica loved being with her family and she loved being a mother. Her two girls, Aryianna and Lylah, were the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time with them, often taking them to parks and to the beach. She loved taking pictures of her family. Jessica had a good sense of humor and an infectious smile, which she passed down to Ari and Lylah. She will forever be their guiding angel.

Jessica left this world in a tragic accident and as this feeling of sadness and anger grow into an unquenchable desire to have Jessica in our midst for just one moment more, a moment to say I love you and I am proud of the woman you have become, our faith grows. A faith that this hurt will soon be replaced by anticipation of a reunion and a deeper understanding that where Jessica is, all tears are wiped away.

The family had a small private service on Monday. We would like to thank the many people that have offered help, support and prayers. We especially thank Kraai McClure and Scott Beutler for finding our two precious children and taking that moment to go back and investigate. Our thanks to Cathy Scaizo for her assistance. ?God bless you all.

A benefit fund for the girls (Rath-Huff Benefit fund) has been set-up by loving members of the community at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank.
