WESTPORT The Wahkiakum Ferry will close, starting Feb. 25. The ferry will operate in the early morning runs Feb. 25, but the last scheduled run will leave Westport for Puget Island, Wash., at 7:15 a.m.

The closure is for maintenance work on the ferry itself. The dry dock duration is expected to take about a week, but until the work has begun, the recommence date may change.
