Nov. 25 – 2:14 a.m., 30 N. Prom, front desk of a motel called stating that there was a group staying in a room that should be empty. Officer responded, the group chose to leave; 4:06 p.m., 20 blk Ave. A, Officer responded to report of group of teenagers in the area possibly looking into cars. Officer advised unable to locate any teenagers in the area after
searching the entire garage area; 6:23 p.m., 400 blk S Roosevelt, officer responded to report of possibly intoxicated driver. Officer contacted driver and advised not impaired, complainant may have stepped in front of vehicle. No injuries reported; 7:13 p.m., 1000 blk S Downing, officer responded to reported disturbance call and advised unfounded. Subjects moving into apartment was the cause of disturbance;
Nov. 26 12:43 a.m., 200 blk S Holladay Dr., caller reported a male trying to steal a plant outside a business, who reportedly left on a bicycle towing a cart. Officer responded but could not locate the subject;12:43 a.m., Cinema Parking, officer issued a verbal warning for unlawful lodging and littering; 4:05 p.m., 700 blk Ave. G, person reporting person taking mail from mail box of business. Officer contacted subject and advised he was picking up pay check. No crime; 6:47 p.m., Shore Terrace/Wahanna, caller reporting trailer parked too close to corner. Officer advised trailer is parked legally and there are safety cones in place marking it as well; 9:26 p.m., 4200 blk Hwy 101, officer assisted Gearhart PD with a domestic disturbance and a subject with a warrant.
Nov. 27 4:30 a.m., 1100 blk Queen, caller reported hearing a male crying for help. Officer responded and contacted a care facility. All were ok; 11:50 a.m., In Estuary near 5th Ave., caller reporting plywood dumped into the estuary. Public works was notified; 12:31 p.m., Ave. G/ Holladay, report of drug needles on the ground at the above location. Officer disposed of them; 12:3 p.m., 200 blk S Holladay Dr., report of a male yelling and causing a problem. Officers made contact with him and he will be leaving and going to 10th with a female companion; 1:21 p.m., caller reporting subjects hauling a large log out of the river and blocking the boat ramp. Officer made contact and advised the subjects not to do it again. They will be removing the log; 4:36 p.m., 12th/Wahanna, caller concerned that there is equipment in the roadway from construction on 12th. Officer checked area and there was no danger, it was clearly marked; 8:38 p.m., Holladay/16th, caller reporting several kids jumping into the roadway in front of his car. Officer contacted kids who said they may have been walking too close to the white line. They were warned about safety; 10:32 p.m., 4200 blk Hwy 101, Officer assisted with a possible verbal disturbance. No disturbance located. Subject was still in custody at the Jail.
Nov. 28 12:48 a.m., Downtown, Female called 911 advising she needed cops in a hotel on Broadway. Officers checked the area unable to locate anyone in distress in the area. Cell number is unreachable on call back; 5:02 a.m., 300 blk S Roosevelt, Officer contacted subject who was taking things from the front of the store. He advised he worked there; 7:55 p.m., 1100 blk N Roosevelt, caller reporting suspicious person attempting to get into store after closing; 10:06 p.m., 500 blk S Columbia, Report of 2 loud booms, possibly gunshots or garbage cans. Officer checked the area he was unable to locate anything; 10:48 p.m., 1200 blk S Wahanna, Loud people causing a disturbance in the apartment complex. Officers made contact subjects advised; 11:28 p.m., 300 blk S Prom, Reporting party believed someone had broken into room next door. Officers made contact with complainant. Manager was contact and advised room was rented.
Nov. 29 12:17 a.m., 2300 blk S Columbia, Report of people in the residence after being requested to leave; 5:35 a.m., 1000 blk S Holladay, Business line phone call suspicious female, someone excitedly talking into phone. Only words made out are guy and steal all my money, no other information was obtained as it was spoken in English and another language mixed. Officers advised of phone call and searching the city, unable to locate anything; 6:56 a.m., 900 blk N Holladay, Requests welfare check on daughter because she is worried she will be abducted. No one at office; 9:28 p.m., Ave. G/Holladay, caller reporting drug activity with suspect information. Officer will be on the look out for suspect; 10:59 p.m., Columbia/Ave. E, Report of a male outside causing problems. Officers checked the area unable to locate.
Nov. 30 12:17 a.m., 14th Ave/ Green building, Officer located an illegal burn. Subject was advised. Fire was going to be put out; 8:29 a.m., Old Carmichal Oil, caller reporting hanging metal on the roof flapping in the wind. During the last storm, the owner of the building was notified of the situation; 11:30 a.m., 300 blk S Lincoln, caller reporting possible violation of no contact order. Officers checked area and subject was not found. Extra patrols in area; 5:15 p.m., 30 N Prom, Lake Oswego Police Department requesting welfare check on female possibly suicidal. Officer located female and advised she was fine just needed a couple of days to herself, officer advised of local resources if she needed; 7:47 p.m., 300 blk 4th Ave., officer responded to advise person staying at house that she was not welcome per owner request. Officer advised subject was packing and attempting to find a place to stay. Complainant was advised; 10:54 p.m., 40 Ave. U, Subject unlawfully lodging. He was intoxicated and unable to drive at this time. Will move when he is sober.
Dec. 1 2:42 a.m., 400 blk S. Downing, After accident father returned to pick up the vehicle. Started a disturbance with the victim. Parties seperated; 4:55 a.m.m 30 N. Prom, : Report of an open car door. Officer located the vehicle. The door is secure, it is bent so it appears to be open; 9:47 a.m., 2300 blk S Columbia, caller reporting damage to his property done by last tenant. Officer made contact with rp, case taken for information; 9:56 a.m., Lewis and Clark Rd, caller reporting a white truck backed up on the side of the road. Officer advised. They are collecting scrap metal with the permission of the owner; 5:43 p.m., 400 blk S Holladay, officer responded to report of hypodermic needle found on sidewalk and took possession and disposed of properly; 9:49 p.m., 300 blk Broadway, officer responded to report of group of people out on sidewalk drinking alcohol, causing a disturbance. Officer contacted subjects and they would be leaving the area; 11:20 p.m., 20 blk Ave. A, caller reported a disturbance. Officer responded and contacted three individuals who were all given a warning for noise. Disturbance was verbal in nature only; 11:31 p.m., 50 1st Ave., caller reported a second disturbance coming from the same room. Officer responded and issued a warning. The group agreed to keep the noise down.
Dec. 2 2:08 a.m., 900 blk Ave S, caller reported a disturbance. Officer responded and verified the parties were separated. One subject was trespassed; 9:36 a.m., 3100 blk Sunset Blvd., caller requested officers for hostile tenants. Officers arrived and tenants departed; 4:13 p.m., Ave. G/ Prom, caller reporting person attempting to gain entry into vehicle with coat hanger. Officer advised subject was locked himself out of his own vehicle.
