Dancing to Disneyland

DENELE SWEET excitedly told the Ear about the recent ENCORE DANCE STUDIO (www.getyoudancing.com) trip to DISNEYLAND in Anaheim, Calif., to participate in the taping of ABC TVs Christmas Day parade that will air Christmas morning.

The rehearsals, photo shoots and performances happened over two days, she explained. Many families extended their stay for a fun family vacation. We had 20 dancers (pictured) ages 6 to 14 performing.

Introduced by MARIO LOPEZ, they danced in the parade on Friday, Nov. 2, through Disneyland and then on Saturday, Nov. 3, they performed a production number with the Cars from the new CARS LAND on Main Street, USA. They had to learn and perform two routines, and the adorable costumes were chosen by Disney. The dancers even earned a MOUSECAR (pictured in the inset) for participating.

It was an awesome experience for the kids to work with Disney choreographers and ABC TV producers, she added. Cant wait to wake up Christmas morning and see our kids on TV!
